Don’t wait for the Last Minute
Last-minute preparations will always fail in some manner. If you’re rushing to gather all your supplies the night before your event, you might forget some critical items. Rushing through all your staff job assignments might slip up on hiring someone correctly. Always allow plenty of time during preparations to avoid mistakes.

Supplies
It’s time to take an inventory and see what supplies need to be reordered. Make your supply order with lots of advanced notice so you’re not stressed waiting for their arrival.

Test Runs
Do some test runs on your equipment. Your equipment might need tuneups or fixing. They might be in the same state as they were at the end of last year!

On-Site Visits
Early walk-throughs can help your event planning beyond measure. Your client and you can envision all considerations of your special event and the event management problems areas as well. Don’t forget to make a to-do list on-site when the tasks are fresh on your mind.
